Oliver Meidl has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Oliver started their career in various IT support roles before joining IBM in 1993 as a Programmer/Analyst, where they worked on healthcare application development and support. Meidl then moved to Springer Gabler in 2013, where they authored three books on global web design. In 2017, they worked as an independent author at Buchschmiede von Dataform Media GmbH, publishing books about travel adventures and encouraging messages for change skeptics. Meidl later joined Amway Europe, holding various roles including Senior Principal Project Manager, Head of Business Transformation Team, and ATLAS Program Manager. Oliver was responsible for managing large-scale business transformation initiatives, ERP rollouts, and deployment projects across Europe and Russia.
Oliver Meidl's education history includes obtaining a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Management in Information and Business Technologies from Universität Klagenfurt in 2013, followed by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in General Management (Advanced Academic Business Manager) from the same university in 2014. In 2004, they obtained an Associate's Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business, and in 2001, they received a Certified IT Project Manager certification from Fachhochschule Technikum Wien. Oliver also completed a Global Leadership Certification program from Davenport University in 2015. Oliver pursued Commercial Information Technology studies at the University of Vienna from 1987 to 1993. Additionally, they engaged in theological courses (Wiener Theologische Kurse) at Akademie am Dom from 2017 to 2020 and is currently undergoing a Diakonatsausbildung (Permanent Deacon Formation Program) at Diakoneninstitut, Erzdiözese Wien since 2019. Oliver has also obtained additional certifications, including Certified Product Manager (CPM) from Product Manager HQ in 2022, OKR Certified Coach from WorkBoard Inc. in 2021, Global Leadership Certification (ALCP) from Davenport University in 2015, Project Management Associate's Certificate (ESI) from The George Washington University School of Business in 2004, and Certified IT Project Manager (IIR) from Fachhochschule Technikum Wien in 2001.
