Chhaya Agrawal

Chhaya Agrawal has extensive work experience in the engineering field, with a focus on research and development. Chhaya started their career at Clorox in 2000, where they worked as a Scientist for 5 years, gaining experience in process development and formulation. Chhaya led an R&D team in the acquisition and commercialization of a new product platform, overseeing consumer evaluations, test equipment design, competitive analysis, claims substantiation, and consumer interviews.

In 2005, Chhaya joined Amway as a Senior R&D Engineer in Process Development. Over the course of almost 15 years, they worked on global product development and commercialization projects, driving product line revisions, supporting new product innovations, and guiding the transfer of contract business into manufacturing sites. Chhaya also focused on package and process efficiencies, including avoiding scrap, improving mix processing, and conducting statistical data analysis.

In 2020, Chhaya transitioned into the role of a Senior Engineer, Nutrition Business Support at Amway, where they led validation activities for new carbonated beverage and powdered dietary supplement lines. Chhaya also contributed to the development of quality requirements for in-house manufacturing to meet global market needs.

Most recently, Chhaya has taken on the role of Principal Engineer at Amway, starting in May 2022.

Chhaya Agrawal completed their education in a chronological order. Chhaya began their academic journey by attending Roy C. Ketcham High School in New York, graduating as the Salutatorian in 1993. Following this, they pursued their undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1993 to 1997. Chhaya then furthered their studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from 1997 to 1999.
