Eric Tapia

Eric Tapia brings 22 years of extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Regional Sales Director at Amwins Connect since June 2011. In this role, Eric supports insurance brokers and agencies in scaling their businesses without charge, focusing on strategizing growth for their current portfolios. Prior to this position, Eric was a Regional Sales Manager for one of California's largest Insurance General Agencies, assisting in closing various insurance policies for small and large groups. Eric founded Eric Tapia Insurance & Financial Services from June 2005 to June 2011, successfully managing a diverse book of business and running a Spanish call center for Blue Shield of California. Earlier career experiences include an impactful tenure as a Direct Sales Representative with WellPoint and volunteer work with the Magic Johnson Foundation. Eric holds a Marketing degree from California State University, Northridge.
