Justin Spears

Justin Spears is an accomplished writer and producer currently working for the Arizona Daily Star since September 2017, where responsibilities include managing the Wildcast podcast and producing digital content while taking on a larger writing role. Previous experience includes a position as a breaking news writer for Cox Media Group Digital & Strategy Team, and various roles at Fan Media Network, Inc. and Arizona Daily Wildcat, including senior reporter and sports editor. Spears also has experience with UATV 3, KAMP Student Radio, Sports Illustrated as a campus correspondent, and the Associated Press. An education in journalism was completed at the University of Arizona from 2013 to 2017.
