Thomas Schmidt

Thomas Schmidt has worked in the scientific field since 2011. Thomas began their career as a GIS Assistant at Grand Valley State University in 2011. In 2009, they worked as a Summer Horticulturist Intern at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. Since 2015, Thomas has been employed at Amyris, where they have held the roles of Scientist 1, Senior Associate Scientist, Associate Scientist 3, and Associate Scientist 2.

Thomas Schmidt obtained a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management and Biology from Grand Valley State University from 2008 to 2010. Thomas then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Biology from Grand Valley State University from 2011 to 2014.
