Vincent Martin

Vincent Martin has a long and varied work experience. Vincent began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley in 1999. In 2003, they joined the Berkeley Lab as a Staff Scientist and also Co-Founded Amyris. In 2004, they became a Professor at Concordia University. In 2014, they joined the Evolva Group as an Advisor. In 2018, they took on the role of Chief Scientific Officer at District 3 Innovation and Advisor at Hyasynth Bio. In 2021, they became a Scientific Advisor at Index Biosystems.

Vincent Martin began their education in 1986 when they attended McGill University - Macdonald Campus and graduated with a Bachelor of Science - BS in Microbiology in 1990. Vincent then attended the University of Guelph and completed their Master of Science - MS in Environmental Biology in 1993. Finally, they attended The University of British Columbia and completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Microbiology in 1999.
