Eilis Gilvarry

Eilis Gilvarry is an experienced professional with a strong background in workforce planning, human resources, and people development. Currently serving as a Principal Officer and previously as an Assistant Principal at An Garda Síochána since November 2017, Eilis has cultivated expertise in managing human resources initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as an Account Manager and Higher Executive Officer at the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection from January 2008 to November 2017, as well as an Executive Officer at the Department of Health and Children from June 2002 to December 2007. Early career experience includes a position as a Customer Services Officer at First Active from April 2001 to June 2002. Eilis holds a Professional Diploma in Organisational Behaviour from the Irish Management Institute and a BA in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Public Administration, complemented by additional education from the University of Limerick and The Honorable Society of King's Inns.
