Alexander Tung

Alexander Tung has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance. Alexander is currently serving as the Vice President of Quality Assurance at AN2 Therapeutics since May 2022. Before that, they held the role of Senior Director of Quality Assurance at Retrotope, Inc. from May 2021 to May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Director of Quality Assurance at Quark Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from March 2020 to April 2021. Alexander also served as the Senior Director of Quality Assurance at Symic Bio, Inc. from June 2017 to December 2019. Additionally, they worked as the Associate Director of Quality Assurance at XOMA (US) LLC from July 2015 to December 2016. Alexander started their career as a Consultant at USDM Life Sciences from July 2014 to July 2015. Alexander Tung also held various managerial positions at Hyperion Therapeutics, Inc., Allergan, Inc., Gilead Sciences, and CV Therapeutics, Inc. from 2009 to 2013.

Alexander Tung received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Wilfrid Laurier University, which they completed between 1989 and 1993. Alexander then pursued additional education at Seneca College, where they earned a Certificate in Industrial Pharmaceutical Technology from 1994 to 1995. Later, from 1996 to 1998, they obtained another Certificate, this time in Quality Assurance, also from Seneca College.
