Joana Franke

Joana Franke is an experienced educator and social worker with a diverse background in teaching and social services. Currently serving as a Spanish Teacher at Anaheim Union High School District since August 2021, Joana has also contributed as a Substitute Teacher in both Saddleback Valley Unified School District and ABC Unified School District since 2018. Prior to their teaching career, Joana worked as a Medical Social Worker at Satellite Healthcare/WellBound and Emanuel Medical Center, as well as a Social Worker IV for Stanislaus County Community Services Agency. Joana holds a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Foreign Language Teacher Education - Spanish from California State University, Long Beach, in addition to a Master of Social Work from California State University, Stanislaus, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara.
