Shamim Wu has extensive experience in the senior housing industry, having held various leadership roles throughout their career. They most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at UrgentMED. Prior to that, Wu was the Chief Operating Officer at Eclipse Senior Living, where they oversaw multi-site operations and played a key role in transforming the company. They also held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer at Silverado Care for a brief period. Wu's experience also includes executive positions at Holiday Retirement, where they served as the Executive Vice President - Sales and later as the Vice President Sales - South. They were responsible for achieving industry-leading occupancy growth and developing sales infrastructure. Wu previously worked at Emeritus Senior Living as the Senior Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, and at Summerville Senior Living as an Area Manager, Sales Specialist, and Community Relations Director.
Shamim Wu attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Shamim then pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at the same university, although the specific dates of this program are not provided.
