Alan O'Connor

Alan O'Connor is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering sciences with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Research at Analog Devices since September 2019, O'Connor leads a team focused on Road Noise Cancellation, notably developing an autotuning software that optimizes engineering processes and constructing real-time testbeds. Prior roles include Principal Research Scientist and Senior Research Scientist at Analog Devices, where O'Connor worked on cost reduction in inertial measurement unit calibration and prototyped navigation systems for autonomous vehicles. Earlier experience encompasses a significant tenure at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where O'Connor developed signal processing algorithms and facilitated successful flight tests, as well as a postdoctoral position at the Air Force Research Laboratory.
