Mardiatu Mustapha has a work experience spanning from 2016 to 2020. Mardiatu started their career as a Personnel Research Intern at U.S. Customs and Border Protection in September 2016 and worked until December 2016. Mardiatu then joined Miele as a Data Specialist in December 2017 and worked until January 2018. Mardiatu then moved on to Ankura where they served as a Data Analytics Associate in the Litigation & Disputes department from April 2018 to February 2020. Most recently, they joined Analytica Inc. in February 2020 as a Data Analyst. In this role, they developed data matching algorithms in SAS and SQL to detect potential fraud, waste, and abuse of Medicaid funds. Mardiatu also implemented advanced fuzzy-matching algorithms to compare non-identical strings and identified hundreds of thousands of dollars in overpayments made to ineligible Medicaid providers.
Mardiatu Mustapha completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania from 2011 to 2015. Mardiatu then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology from 2015 to 2017.
In addition to their formal education, Mardiatu Mustapha has obtained several certifications. Mardiatu completed a certification in Machine Learning with Python from IBM in January 2021, as well as a certification in Python for Data Science and AI from IBM in the same month and year. Mardiatu also completed a certification in R Programming from The Johns Hopkins University in January 2021. In December 2020, they achieved the SAS Certified Professional: Advanced Programming Using SAS 9.4 certification from SAS. Prior to that, in July 2020, they completed the SAS Macro Language 1: Essentials certification, and in May 2020, they earned the SAS Certified Specialist: Base Programming Using SAS 9.4 certification, both from SAS.
