Andrew Garnett, M.Eng, is an experienced Electrical Maintenance and Reliability Engineer currently employed at Analytical Services and Materials, Inc. since January 2022, where responsibilities include troubleshooting high voltage distribution systems and implementing preventive maintenance plans at NASA Langley Research Center. Prior to this, Andrew held positions at Newport News Shipbuilding from May 2017 to February 2022, serving as both a Nuclear Engineer 2 and an Electrical Engineer 2, focusing on reactor safety and operational controls for nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. Andrew's earlier experiences encompass roles as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, an Electrical Engineering Intern at Cree, and a Generation Sector Engineering Intern at EPRI. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
