Bill Leath is an experienced engineer specializing in acoustics and simulation within the aerospace sector. Currently serving as Engineer 4 at Analytical Services and Materials, Inc. since October 2017, Bill focuses on aircraft engine liner acoustics technology and airframe noise analysis. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation, supporting airspace and traffic simulation models and acoustics studies, and a lengthy tenure at Lockheed Martin Operations, where Bill developed sound hemisphere conformal mapping routines and processed flight test data. Bill's diverse technical background encompasses software development for military systems, space applications, and academic research in neural networks and structural analysis. With degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and Virginia Tech, Bill has a solid foundation in complex engineering principles.
