Christoph Gibson

Christoph Gibson has a strong background in drug discovery and development. Christoph is currently the Vice President of Drug Discovery and Development at AnalytiCon Discovery, a role they have held since November 2021. Before that, they served as the Director of Drug Discovery and Development at the same company from January 2020 to November 2021. Prior to joining AnalytiCon Discovery, Christoph worked as the Director of Medicinal Chemistry at the company from July 2010 to January 2020. Christoph also held the position of Head of Development and Project Management at Virologik GmbH from February 2010 to May 2010. Earlier in their career, Christoph was the Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Jerini AG from April 2002 to September 2009. Christoph started their career as a Postdoc at The Scripps Research Institute from September 2000 to March 2002.

Christoph Gibson began their education at The University of Freiburg in 1991, where they pursued a Vordiplom in Chemistry. Christoph then went on to study at The University of Göttingen from 1993 to 1996, earning a Diplom degree in Chemistry. Gibson continued their academic journey at the Technical University of Munich, where they obtained a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Chemistry from 1997 to 2000.
