AnalytiCon Discovery
Max-Bernhard Ballhausen is a microbiologist with extensive experience in microbial ecology and plant-microbe interactions. Currently serving as a microbiologist at AnalytiCon Discovery since February 2022, Max-Bernhard previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Freie Universität Berlin, focusing on microbial adaptations to climate change. Prior roles include a postdoctoral position at the Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops, where research centered on interactions within the plant microbiome, and a PhD candidacy at NIOO-KNAW, dedicated to studying mycophagous soil bacteria. Max-Bernhard holds a Doctorate in Microbial Ecology from Wageningen University & Research and a Diplom in Biology from Universität Osnabrück, complemented by a year of study at Universidad de Costa Rica.
