Reece Wooten is an experienced data scientist and team leader at Chevron, specializing in machine learning and optimization tools for the supply chain business unit since July 2018. Previously, Reece developed predictive models and launched the company’s first optimization platform in the Supply and Trading division. Educationally, Reece holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin. Additional roles include serving as a Supplemental Instructor at the University, Vice President of Omicron Delta Epsilon, Senior Editor for The Developing Economist, and contributing to various projects related to analytics and economic research.
