Lior Baron

Lior Baron is a highly experienced professional who has worked with several organizations and played several roles throughout their career. Lior founded and currently serves as the CEO of Analytics Barons LLC, where they are responsible for setting up the strategic direction of the firm, managing partnerships and alliances, building and mentoring a team, growing the sales pipeline, work delivery, and finance. Lior is also the founder and lead consultant of their consulting company that leverages their exceptional experience in assisting organizations in improving efficiency and financial performance via comprehensive process automation, AI enablement, and data analytics transformation. Before setting up their own company, Baron worked with Aprio as the director of data analytics services, and they established a market-focused data analytics and developed new services to expand support to small and medium business markets at this CPA-led business advisory firm. Lior has also worked with EY, where they oversaw teams improving efficiency across the R&D and manufacturing divisions by leading operational advisory, project portfolio management, and data enhancement. Prior to this, they were Vice President of UMT Consulting Group before its acquisition by Ernst & Young in 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Principal Consultant / NLP Software Engineer / Technical Project Lead at NICE Systems Inc. earlier in their career. Baron is also active in conducting academic research into biologically inspired artificial intelligence in their free time.

Lior Baron holds a B.A. in Computer Science (Cum Laude) that they obtained from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 1997 and 2000. Lior then pursued an MBA at NYU Stern School of Business in Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Customer Relationships Management, which they completed in 2005. Lior went back to school and earned a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Computer Science from The Graduate Center, City University of New York between 2013 and 2020. Lior is currently studying for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science, also at The Graduate Center, City University of New York. In addition to their academic pursuits, Lior holds several certifications, including Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum.org, and SQL Server from Microsoft, obtained in 2012 and 2008, respectively. Lior also recently became a QQube Certified Professional, receiving the certification in June 2021.
