Mihir Gujarathi is a Research Assistant at Boolean Lab, specializing in the development of AI/ML algorithms for real-time detection of ventricular arrhythmias. Mihir's work includes optimizing a model for low-power microcontrollers in Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators, achieving a model size of 14KB through the application of the lottery Ticket Hypothesis. Prior experience includes positions as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at PICT Research Center under the guidance of Dr. R. Sreemathy, a Machine Learning Team Member at PICT CSI Student Branch, and an intern in multiple organizations including Grroom and The Sparks Foundation. Mihir is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering, following a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology.
