Wil Oxford

Wil Oxford has a strong background in the technology industry, with a focus on cybersecurity and communication systems. Wil founded Anametric, Inc. in 2017 and served as their CEO. Prior to that, they were the Founder and Chief Scientist at Rubicon Labs, Inc., a cybersecurity startup, from 2007 to 2017. Wil also worked at LifeSize Communications, Inc. as a Principal Engineer from 2003 to 2007, where they were involved in designing advanced conference technology. Wil started their career at Apple Computer, Inc., where they held various roles including Principal Engineer and Manager of Audio Technologies from 1987 to 2001.

Wil Oxford earned their Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics & Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1983 to 1987. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics and Chemistry from the same university from 1979 to 1983. Before entering university, Wil attended Windsor Boys' School, although the specific years of attendance are unknown.
