Ritika Ahuja

Ritika Ahuja is a director at Anand and Anand in Noida. With an experience of 14 plus years in IP, she specializes in patent prosecution, patent drafting and patent analysis in the ICT and medical equipment domain and provides legal opinions on various aspects such as infringement, FTO, validity and patentability.

She supervises the patent drafting team in the ICT and mechanical stream, in-house and outsourced and deals with inventors, companies and startups on routine basis. She has been regularly invited to deliver sessions/lectures before the Healthcare division of IIT Chennai, in order to encourage their Medtech startups and incubators to file more and more patents.

She regularly appears before the Indian Patent Office and the Intellectual Property Appellate Board, as a patent agent and lawyer respectively. She is adept at handling voluminous patent portfolios of top telecom giants sitting abroad. The hyperactive ICT segment keeps her engaged in practicing the firm’s unpatented but effective strategy of “smart prosecution”.

Ritika has an overall experience of 14 years in the arena of Intellectual Property. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, she has worked for seven years in the field of patents with some prestigious law firm of Delhi/ NCR region and has also served as an academic head of an intellectual property rights Institute for two years.
