Pooja Maru

Pooja Maru is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Partner at Anand Rathi Investment Banking, focusing on corporate finance advisory in energy transition and mining in India since April 2023. Pooja co-founded Jiva Elements & Energy Solutions in January 2021 and has held the position of Partner at Jiva Capital Partners Ltd in the UK since March 2009. As the Founder & Director of Vidyapath, an initiative promoting charity through art from India since January 2017, Pooja has demonstrated a commitment to social causes. Previous roles include working in strategy and investor relations at OPG Power Ventures plc from April 2012 to March 2018, serving as Manager of Finance & International Tax at Vedanta Resources from August 2004 to February 2009, and holding associate positions at PwC Consulting and Anand Rathi Securities. Pooja holds an MBA in General and Strategic Management from Bayes Business School, an ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and a B.Com in Economics and Accounts from the University of Mumbai.
