Megan Bingham-Walker

Co-Founder & CEO at Anansi

Megan Bingham-Walker is the Co-Founder & CEO of Anansi. Prior to that, they were a Principal at WHEB Partners, a venture capital/private equity investment firm focused on cleantech. There, they were responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, deal execution and ongoing portfolio management.

Before their venture capital career, Megan worked in the UK government as a Policy Advisor and Private Secretary to the Secretary of State. In these roles, they provided high-level briefing and policy advice on energy policy, including all forms of renewable energy, energy efficiency and the European Emissions Trading Scheme.

Megan is also a co-founder of Eccentric Data, an early-stage machine learning startup. The company published research at ACL 2016 and Recsys 2016 on a novel graph-based machine learning technique to contextualize complex time-series data.

Megan Bingham-Walker has a MA Hons in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Development Finance (Distance Learning) from SOAS University of London.
