Anders Stendebakken is CEO of Brummer & Partners Asset Management (Asia) Pte Ltd. After graduating from the Stockholm School of Economics in 1996 Anders joined Brummer & Partners as an analyst. From 1998 to 2005 Stendebakken worked for the international investment bank Lazard focusing on mergers and acquisitions, most recently as Vice President within corporate finance. In 2005 Anders moved to Asia where he until 2007 worked for Vickers Financial Group, a private equity firm that invests in China and Southeast Asia, where he also formed a part of the investment committee. In August 2007 Anders Stendebakken once again joined Brummer & Partners as CEO of B&P Asset Management (Asia) Pte Ltd. Since 2007 he has overseen the Brummer & Partners business in Asia, including the launch of the two funds, the Frontier Fund (Bermuda) Ltd. (the “Frontier Fund”) and Frontier PE (Cayman) LP (“Frontier PE”) that invest in Bangladesh. Responsibilities have included managing investments in the capital market in Bangladesh since inception of the Frontier Fund in 2008 as well as being an original member of the investment team and one of three members of the investment committee of Frontier Fund and Frontier PE, which is dedicated to private equity investments in Bangladesh.
