Luisa Islas

Luisa Islas is a Senior Formulation Scientist at Anaphite, bringing a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering along with over five years of industrial experience in process development and coatings. Previously, Luisa worked as a Process and Coatings Scientist at Johnson Matthey, where they collaborated with engineers and chemists, authored technical reports, and supervised PhD students. Luisa's postdoctoral research at the University of Bristol focused on developing lab-based models of bacterial membranes and involved securing beamtime at synchrotron facilities. Additionally, Luisa has experience as a Scientific Editor and has contributed to various research projects in materials science across several organizations.
