Ümran Kamar Akaalp

Ümran Kamar Akaalp is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in data integrations and software testing. Currently serving as Engineering Lead for Core IP and Planning AI at Anaplan, Ümran oversees the Data Integrations and Connectors Group, managing products such as ADO, Cloudworks, and various Anaplan connectors. Previous roles include Engineering Manager at Mimecast, where responsibilities encompassed archiving and ETL ingestion, and Senior Software Test Automation Engineer focusing on ETL services. Additional experience includes senior test and engineering roles at TomTom, AirTies Wireless Networks, and Huawei, as well as foundational work as a software engineer at Akcasu Software Systems. Ümran holds a Master's degree from Bahcesehir University and a Bachelor's degree from Izmir Institute of Technology.
