Ryan M has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ryan started their career as a Computer Programmer at the New Mexico Department of Transportation in 2004. Ryan then moved on to Bechtel National Inc in 2008, where they worked as a Project Controls Engineer and later as a Mechanical Engineer. During their time at Bechtel National Inc, Ryan was involved in software development, data analysis, and process improvement projects.
In 2013, Ryan joined Bechtel Power as a Mechanical Field Engineer, supporting nuclear power plant completion activities. Ryan then transitioned to Sundyne in 2014 as an Engineering Project Manager, where they managed custom-engineered orders valued at $21.5M.
In 2017, Ryan joined Anark Corporation as a Senior Technical Project Manager, responsible for leading a remote Technical Project Management team. Ryan also served as the Director of Project Management, overseeing architecture design, UX advisory, and enterprise solutions with customers. Ryan is well-versed in various management frameworks such as PMBOK waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and wild-west-free-for-all.
Most recently, Ryan has taken on the role of Support Engineering Manager (interim) at Anark Corporation, starting in October 2021.
Ryan M's education history includes a Master's degree in Engineering & Technology Management from Colorado School of Mines, which was obtained between the years 2006 and 2007. Prior to that, Ryan M completed a Bachelor's degree in General Engineering at Montana Technological University, studying from 2001 to 2006. In addition, Ryan M pursued studies in Manufacturing and Robotics Engineering at The University of New Mexico from 2003 to 2005, although no degree was specified.
In terms of certifications, Ryan M obtained the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2018. Prior to that, Ryan M obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the same institution in January 2017. Ryan M also holds the Engineer In Training certification from Montana State, acquired in April 2010. Lastly, Ryan M earned the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance in April 2020.
