Edison Guamba

Edison Guamba has had several years of experience in the field of clinical research and data management. Edison began their career at the Student Conservation Association as a Biological Research Intern, where they developed experimental procedures, prepared progress reports, and designed an educational experiment.

After their internship, Edison worked as a Health Data & Communications Specialist at Cognosante from 2014 to 2016.

Edison then spent a year at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Clinical RSA - Developmental Therapeutics.

In 2017, they joined Axovant Sciences as a Clinical Trial Data Manager, where they remained until 2019.

Edison then worked as a Clinical Trial Consultant at Solis Clinical Consulting Services L from 2019 to 2020.

Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director of Clinical Operations at Anavex Life Sciences, which they started in 2020.

Overall, Edison has developed expertise in clinical operations, data management, and consulting within the pharmaceutical industry.

Edison Guamba has a Master's degree in Clinical Trial Sciences, which they obtained from Rutgers Graduate School - Newark. Edison attended this school from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences at Rutgers University, which they attended from 2010 to 2013.

In addition to their degrees, Edison Guamba has also obtained two certifications. In January 2015, they obtained the Basic Life Support certification from the Advanced Certification Institute. In October 2014, they obtained the Health Insurance Marketplace Assistance Personnel certification from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
