Birgit Zech

Birgit Zech has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Birgit is currently the CEO of Anavo Therapeutics BV since January 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Gotham Therapeutics from August 2017 to December 2020. From April 2014 to July 2017, they held the role of SVP Corporate Development at X-Rx. Before that, they worked as the VP of Business Development at MAB Discovery GmbH from December 2011 to October 2015 and at Pieris Pharmaceuticals from April 2005 to December 2011. Birgit began their career as a Scientist at Axxima Pharmaceuticals in November 2000 and worked there until March 2005.

Birgit Zech holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University Erlangen-Nuernberg. The duration of their studies and the exact time of completion are not provided.
