Aaron Wolf

Aaron Wolf is a highly experienced population geneticist with a strong background in scientific communications and genomics research. Currently serving as a Senior Population Geneticist at Ancestry since July 2021, Aaron specializes in creating clear and accessible representations of genomics research, coordinating outreach materials, and collaborating with marketing teams to effectively communicate with customers and the media. Prior to this role, Aaron was an AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow at the Federal Judicial Center, developing genomics education programs, and held a postdoctoral position at Princeton University, focusing on human-Neanderthal admixture studies. Aaron's academic journey includes a PhD in Genome Sciences from the University of Washington and a BA in Biology and Anthropology from Oberlin College.
