Gary Mangum

Gary Mangum is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in mobile engineering, currently serving as the Principal Manager of Mobile Engineering at Ancestry since April 2007. Expertise includes leading the development of Ancestry's native mobile applications for iOS and Android, along with previous roles as a Senior Development Manager and Principal iOS Engineer. In addition to industry work, Gary mentors senior engineering students as a Capstone Coach at Brigham Young University, provides technical leadership for the Come Follow Me App at the We Believe Foundation, and engages in entrepreneurial projects with family through MangumLabs, LLC. Gary's background includes various software engineering positions at multiple companies, extending back to the mid-1990s, coupled with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University.
