Tamzin Stroucken (née Nel), CFA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tamzin started their career as a Waitress at Paputzis from 2004 to 2007. Tamzin then worked as a Promotional Model & Hostess at Amazen Promotional Modelling, Veritas, and Skewville from 2009 to 2010, and later at Rusco Promotions from 2010 to 2012.
In 2011, Tamzin joined Virtus Financial Services as a Portfolio Manager's Assistant, where they managed investment portfolios and handled general administration tasks. Tamzin then moved on to Anchor Capital in 2012, initially working as a Fund and Portfolio Manager. Their role expanded to include Head of People Development and Mining Rehab Fund Manager, where they focused on private client management and mining rehabilitation funds. Tamzin remained with Anchor Capital until 2019.

Tamzin Stroucken (née Nel), CFA began their education at St Mary's School for Girls, Waverly, where they completed their secondary education between 2003 and 2007. Tamzin then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Investment Management at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, graduating in 2010. In 2012, Tamzin enrolled at the CFA Institute and obtained their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter in August 2015. In addition to their formal education, they have also completed several certifications, including the "Unity in Diversity (UiD) Master Session: Ubuntu Leadership in a VUCA World for Women Leaders" at Prerna Advisory in September 2021, "Dare to Lead Trained" certification from the Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator in February 2020, and a certification in "Social Entrepreneurship" from the University of Oxford, Department for Continuing Education in December 2016.
