Gran Shinwar

Gran Shinwar has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Gran is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Anchor Hospital since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Market Vice President Behavioral Health Services at LewisGale Regional Health System from July 2021 to November 2022. Gran also held the position of Director of Hospital Operations | Psychiatric Services at Billings Clinic from May 2020 to July 2021. Gran has extensive experience in quality improvement and risk management, having worked as the Director of Quality Improvement & Risk Management at Inland Northwest Behavioral Health from 2018 to 2020. Gran Shinwar also worked at Valley View Hospital as a Regulatory Manager from 2016 to 2018. Before that, they held the role of Business Process Manager at One Call Care Management (formerly Align Networks) from 2013 to 2016. Gran started their career at Northern Cochise Community Hospital, Inc. as a Performance Improvement Manager from 2008 to 2012.

Gran Shinwar has a diverse education history. The most recent certification they obtained was a Certificate in Finance from Duke University, completed in 2019. Prior to that, they received a Certificate in Healthcare Change Leadership from Cornell University in 2018. In 2015, Gran earned a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree from Webster University, specializing in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. They also hold a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting obtained from Western Governors University in 2013 and a BS degree in Plant Pathology from the University of Florida in 2007.

In addition to their degrees, Gran has obtained two certifications. They earned the Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification from the Management and Strategy Institute in January 2020 and the Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the same institution in March 2016.
