Mark Olson

Mark Olson is an experienced strategic leader in the defense sector, currently serving as Partner and Chief Strategy Officer at Anchor Innovation Inc since May 2024. Prior roles include C5ISR Architect and Tech Transition at SOF AT&L from December 2021 to May 2024, and a series of significant positions at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) from December 2017 to December 2021, including Chief of Staff for Digital Transformation and Program Manager for AEGIS Development. Mark's military background includes serving as Combat Systems Officer and Weapons Officer aboard USS Mobile Bay (CG 53), and leadership roles within Commander Naval Surface Force Atlantic and Commander Sixth Fleet, among others. Mark holds a Master's in Public Policy Management from Georgetown University and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the Naval Postgraduate School, complemented by Joint Professional Military Education from the U.S. Naval War College.
