Rob Howell, P.G. has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Rob began their career in 1998 at Southern Company, where they managed and provided environmental consulting services to various subsidiaries within the company. During their time there, they also participated in Electric Power Research Institute projects and served as a representative in utility industry interest groups and environmental committees.

In 2004, Rob joined Parsons as a Senior Project Manager, Deputy Program Manager, and eventually Program Manager. Their responsibilities included proposal preparation, budgeting, client interaction, and project execution for clients in industries such as electric utility, manufacturing, petroleum, pulp and paper, and chemicals. Rob also took on the role of Business Development Director & Market Leader, where they identified and marketed new customers for the company's environmental and engineering division.

Currently, Rob is working at Anchor QEA as the Chief Operating Officer. Rob previously held the role of Principal Scientist/SE Region Lead and Senior Managing Scientist. Their work focuses on projects in the electric utility, chemical, pulp and paper industries, as well as coastal restoration projects across the Gulf Coast. Their responsibilities include new business/market strategy development, proposal generation, project management, and client/regulatory interaction.

Rob Howell, P.G. has a strong educational background in geology. Rob obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geology & Marine Science from The University of Alabama in the years 1991 to 1995. Rob further pursued their studies and completed a Masters degree in Geology from the same institution during the years 1995 to 1998. In addition to their geology education, Rob Howell, P.G. also holds an MBA degree in Business from Spring Hill College, where they studied from 2005 to 2007.

In terms of additional certifications, Rob Howell, P.G. has obtained the Texas Professional Geologist certification from the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists in February 2017. Rob is also licensed as a Professional Geologist in Alabama and holds certifications in various other states such as Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
