Jared Woody

Jared Woody, MEP, currently serves as the Senior Director of the Office of Emergency Management for the Anchorage School District, a position held since March 2024. Prior to this role, Jared worked at the Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management from May 2015 to April 2024, where responsibilities included serving as an Emergency Management Specialist III and State Exercise Officer, as well as an Emergency Management Specialist II. Experience also includes owning and instructing at Mat-Su Med Training LLC from November 2016 to July 2020, and serving as an EMT-1 and Subject Matter Expert for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough from January 2016 to January 2020. Earlier in the career, Jared worked as Dispatcher II for the Palmer Police Department from August 2009 to May 2015. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management obtained from American Military University between January 2017 and August 2021.
