Ian Tracey

Ian Tracey is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and innovation across various sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Anchored In Ltd. since April 2020, Tracey focuses on facilitating company growth by identifying necessary actions and resources. In addition to this role, Tracey is an Advisory Board Member for Aspect Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities Network and Brave Starts, where contributions promote commercial opportunities and career transitions, respectively. As the Pitchfest National Champion for Innovate UK, Tracey develops training materials and connects investors to innovative initiatives. Previous roles include Non-Executive Chair at Tumblebug Ltd., Head of Access to Funding & Finance at the Knowledge Transfer Network, and Secretary General at the HEPTech Network. Tracey's international experience includes a peer review for the Estonian research and innovation system, and a significant part in technology transfer and entrepreneurship at STFC. Tracey holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Information Systems Engineering from the University of Surrey.
