Viola Hay

Viola Hay is an accomplished expert with extensive experience in innovation consultancy and European programme management. Currently serving as an Expert Evaluator for the European Commission, Viola evaluates Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions within Horizon Europe. As Founder and Director of Amberstone Innovation, Viola focuses on fostering international collaborations and managing complex innovation projects. Additionally, Viola is the International Programmes Director at Anchored In Ltd., assisting academics and entrepreneurs in commercializing ideas. Viola’s previous roles include various managerial positions at Knowledge Transfer Network, where responsibilities ranged from European programme engagement to stakeholder management, and at TWI Ltd., where significant contributions were made to the Energy Generation & Supply Knowledge Transfer Network. Viola holds a First-class Honours Bachelor’s degree in Modern Language Studies with French and Spanish from The Open University and a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies and Musicology from Leipzig University.
