Alysha Brar

Alysha Brar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alysha started their career as an Underwriter at The Economical Insurance Group in 2005 and worked there until 2008. Alysha then joined AG Hair as a Financial Analyst and later transitioned to the role of Sales & Marketing Analyst. In 2014, they became an Analytics Manager at AG Hair, where they conducted sales performance analysis, prepared reports, and analyzed marketing campaigns. After leaving AG Hair in 2016, Alysha joined Vega as a Trade Analyst, where they assessed trade promotions, calculated trade accruals, and guided teams to improve ROI. Alysha also worked as a Customer Analyst at Vega before being promoted to Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. In this role, they analyzed brand and competitor performance using large amounts of data and worked on forecasting and promotional assessment. Alysha also developed reports and dashboards in Tableau. Currently, Alysha is working at Ancient Nutrition as a Sr Manager, Finance & Business Analytics.

Alysha Brar pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Finance & Marketing from Simon Fraser University between 2001 and 2006. In 2016, they attended Duke University, where they completed a course in Data Visualization and Communication with Tableau. Additionally, Alysha has taken a program in Applied Database Administration and Design with a focus on Business Intelligence at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Alysha also studied SQL server/T-SQL at The University of British Columbia. It is not specified when Alysha attended these two institutions.
