Rusty is a seasoned technology executive with more than 25 years of product vision and leadership, with a proven track record of delivering innovative and market leading software products. Previously, Rusty was SVP of Engineering at BoxTone, a leading innovator in secure mobile management and analytics, acquired by by Silicon Valley’s Good Technology in 2014.
Prior to BoxTone, Rusty has held various executive positions with early to mid-stage software organizations delivering enterprise software across multiple technology disciplines. He started his career as a co-founder and Vice President of Development at XDB, where he played a central role in creating the world’s first PC-based SQL relational database. XDB was acquired by Micro Focus, where he was responsible for the overall strategy, technical architecture, and product delivery of all Micro Focus middleware and RDBMS technologies. Rusty has a Bachelor of Systems Engineering degree from Princeton University, and an MSIS degree from University of Maryland.
