Alison Poland

Alison Poland has worked in various roles in the retail and marketing industries since 2008. Alison began their career as a Marketing Executive (University Internship) at Pernod Ricard in 2008. Alison then moved on to Dunnes Stores in 2011, where they worked as a Trainee Buyer. In 2014, they joined Selfridges Group as an Assistant Buyer. Since 2019, they have been employed at &Open, where they have served as Head of Trade, Buying Manager, and Buyer.

Alison Poland has an education history spanning from 1998 to 2012. Alison began their educational journey at Scoil Mhuire College, Wellington Road, Cork, where they earned their Leaving Certificate in 2004. Alison then attended University College Cork, earning a BSc in Marketing and Entrepreneurship in 2008. In 2011, they attended Technological University Dublin, earning an MSc in Fashion Buying and Management, with a focus on Accounting and Finance, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and Textile/Garment Design. That same year, they also attended Heriot-Watt University and earned a degree in Textile and Design, with a focus on Garment Technology.
