Florian Gerard-Mercier

Florian Gerard-Mercier, PhD, is an accomplished professional in the biotech and medtech sectors, currently serving as an Investment Manager at Andera Partners since April 2021, where investments have included TargED, SoniVie, FIRE1, BioVentrix, and Ariceum. Prior to this role, Florian co-founded and directed studies at Le Millénaire, a think tank, and worked as a permanent researcher at CEA, focusing on preclinical research in Alzheimer's and neurodegenerative diseases. Florian's academic credentials include dual PhDs in Neuroscience from École Polytechnique and Saitama University, complemented by an engineering diploma and a master’s degree in interdisciplinary life sciences.
