Katharina Brunner

Katharina Brunner is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in journalism and social media management. As a co-founder of andererseits - für Inklusion im Journalismus since May 2020, Katharina leads social media initiatives. Additional contributions include freelance writing for period.at and Augustin, as well as for DATUM Magazin für Politik und Gesellschaft since 2018. A notable project includes editorial management for the TikTok channel @faqorona aimed at youth science communication during the pandemic. In previous roles, Katharina was involved in film production with HENX, focusing on the Slovenian language and identity in Austria, and served as a host for the Austrian Parliament's podcast. Early career experiences include internships at DATUM - Seiten der Zeit and Verlagsgruppe Fleisch, along with a leadership role as editor-in-chief of BLANK Magazin.
