Sean Scharffenorth

Sean Scharffenorth has a varied and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Sean is currently serving as the CTO / Technical Director at ANDERSEN EV since June 2022. Prior to this, they held the same position at Powervault since January 2020.

From September 2015 to December 2019, Sean worked as the Engineering and Operations Director at Telepen. Before that, they were the Engineering Director at Genesis Technical Systems from September 2013 to September 2015.

Sean also served as the Product Development Manager at Curtiss Wright Controls Defense Solutions from October 2012 to September 2013. Prior to that role, they were an Engineering Manager at Concurrent Technologies Plc from October 2010 to October 2012.

Furthermore, Sean has experience as the Head of Hardware Engineering Development at Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing from April 2007 to September 2010. Sean also worked as a Technical Project Manager at Future Electronics from January 2006 to March 2007.

Prior to these positions, Sean held the role of the Principal Hardware Design and Development Engineer at CCII Systems from January 2002 to January 2005. Sean began their career as a Telecommunications Software Engineer/Architect at Flextronics South Africa (formerly Azisa) from January 2000 to January 2002.

Sean Scharffenorth has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Cape Town, which they obtained from 1994 to 1997. Sean also holds a certification in SC Cleared from the Ministry of Defense, which they obtained in March 2013.
