Derek Mitchell

Derek Mitchell has worked as the Chief Operating Officer at AAB since November 2022 and is currently still in this role. Prior to that, they were the Managing Partner at AAB Aberdeen. Before joining AAB, Derek was a Partner at Anderson Anderson & Brown LLP from February 2006 to April 2020.

Derek Mitchell attended the University of Aberdeen from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy. Derek later received additional certifications, including the CTA from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) in May 2004 and the FCCA from ACCA in December 2002.
