Tina Covington, PhD, BCBA-D, LBA has extensive work experience in the field of autism and behavior analysis. From 2001 to 2017, they worked at Hawthorne Foundation Inc., where they held various roles including Behavior Analyst/Senior Teacher, School Age Division Director, Chief Operating Officer, and eventually became the Executive Director. In 2017, they joined the Anderson Center for Autism as the Chief Program Officer and later became the Chief Operating Officer in 2018.

Tina Covington, PhD, BCBA-D, LBA has an extensive education history. Tina earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky between 1991 and 1995. Following this, they attended Teachers College, Columbia University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Special Education/Behavior Analysis. Tina continued their education at Teachers College, Columbia University from 2001 to 2006, where they completed their Ph.D. in Special Education/Behavior Analysis. In 2011 to 2012, they pursued an Advanced Certificate in School District Leadership from the Bank Street College of Education. Additionally, Tina holds a certification as a NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst, although the specific institution and dates of obtaining this certification are not provided.
