Amy Shofner

Amy Shofner, M.A., CCC-SLP, currently serves as a Speech Language Pathologist at Muncie Community Schools since July 2022. Prior to this role, Amy was a Speech Language Pathologist at The Growing Place from May 2021 to July 2022. Amy's extensive experience in music education includes positions as a Piano and Voice Instructor at Allegro Music Studio from July 2009 to May 2021, as well as serving as Choir Director and Assistant Band Director at Muncie Community Schools from August 2010 to July 2017. Amy also worked as a Registered Behavior Technician providing ABA therapy to children with autism at The Growing Place between February 2018 and May 2019. Earlier in 2010, Amy was a Long Term Substitute for Elementary General Music at Indianapolis Public Schools. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Ball State University (2019-2021) and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Anderson University (2005-2009).
