Jeanette Ellison has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jeanette started their career as a Trust Associate IV at KeyBank from July 2005 to August 2008. Jeanette then worked at The Ohio State University as a Lecturer and Graduate Teaching Assistant from August 2008 to June 2011. Following that, they served as an Assistant Professor at Martin University from August 2011 to August 2012, where they taught a variety of Spanish courses and founded the Spanish club. Jeanette further expanded their teaching skills at Zionsville Community Schools, where they worked as a Teacher from August 2012 to June 2013, gaining experience in public school settings and curriculum development. Currently, they are employed at Anderson Community Schools as a Teacher since July 2013, where they serve students from underprivileged households. Jeanette additionally has part-time experience as an SAT Rater at Educational Testing Service since March 2016.
Jeanette Ellison completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Spanish and Latin American Studies at Miami University from 2000 to 2004. Jeanette then pursued their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Spanish (Literatures and Cultures of Spain) at The Ohio State University from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention from the Crisis Prevention Institute in April 2016 and the Professional Educator's License in Spanish and Language Arts (Grades 5-12) from the Indiana Department of Education in August 2011.
