Vice President at Anderson Industrial Corp

Nelson Wu is the Vice President at Anderson Industrial Corp, a position they have held since July 2015. Prior to that, they were with DBS Bank from October 2006 to July 2015, where they served as Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for originating and executing minority growth equity investment and mezzanine financing in pharmaceutical and healthcare, water treatment, alternative energy, energy and resources, consumer products and education in China amongst others. Nelson also monitored of portfolio companies including managing divestments. Some representative investments include a US$30 million Series A preference share investment in Jintian Pharmaceutical Group Ltd in China, a leading pharmaceutical wholesaler and retail chain in China that completed its Hong Kong IPO in Dec 2013 at US$750 million market cap, and a US$60 million senior bond and convertible bond investment in Asia Water Technology Limited (“AWT.SP”), a Chinese wastewater treatment company listed in Singapore that was eventually divested to Shanghai Industrial Holdings Ltd. (363.HK). From July 2011 to Jun 2012, they setup and headed the Beijing office, responsible for origination and monitoring of portfolio companies in Northern China.

Before their time at DBS Bank, Nelson Wu was with BP from February 2004 to October 2006 as Manager, Regional Finance.

Nelson Wu attended the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they earned their MBA. Nelson also holds a Master's degree in Economics from Western University, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Nelson Wu reports to Thomas Sparvik, Global CEO. They work with Tommy Lee - General manager, Speed Lin - General Manager of Region Machinery, Sales.
