Mr. Aronson was a member of the Law Review while attending Ohio Northern University School of Law. He was Bond Counsel for Transamerica Insurance Company from 1979 to 1983 where he handled all manner of surety and fidelity claims.
Mr. Aronson has extensive experience in construction and business litigation. He is a contributing author to the America Bar Association’s publication on The Law of The Motor Vehicle Dealer Bond and The Performance Bond Manual, both published in 2006. Mr. Aronson is also a contributing author to The Law of Suretyship II, as well as the Wiley Law Publications book Practical Guide to Handling Surety Bond Claims.
Mr. Aronson has been a presenter at the ABA/TIPS Fidelity & Surety Law Mid-Winter program on several occasions: In 2002 on “The Surety’s Indemnity Agreement”; in 2006 on “The Motor Vehicle Dealer’s Bond”; and in 2016 speaking on the Common Law Defenses to Payment Bond Claims.
Admitted to the Federal District Courts in California, Nevada and Arizona, he is a member of the American Bar Association and the Surety Claims Institute. Mr. Aronson is the former Chair of the DRI’s Fidelity & Surety Committee. Mr. Aronson was a speaker at the Eastern Bond Claim Review in New Jersey in 2014 and program Co-chair for the DRI Fidelity and Surety Roundtable program in Chicago in May 2015.
